The Spitfire is flying!!

| However, because it is such a delicate plane and can't withstand our northern winters,
|
| it must be stored out of the elements.
|
| The plane was built by Morris Towns who assisted in the building of the CF105 - Avro Arrow
|
| that is already at the Park. He volunteered more than 650 hours to build this masterpiece.
|

| All donations of $25.00 or more will receive an income tax receipt.

| Donations will be accumulative, so that each year's donation will be

| added to the next, providing all donors the opportunity to join Scotty

| at warp speed!! We are climbing daily, and with support such as yours,

| we will soon be reaching our cruising altitude.

| Exciting News! |
| Zurakowski Park now has its own cancellation stamp at Canada Post!
|
| The stamp consists of a line drawing of the Avro Arrow showing Barry's Bay and
|
| the date of mailing. The next time you mail a letter or package, please go to the
|
| counter at the post office and ask for the cancellation stamp to be used.
|
| It doesn't cost anything and is a great way to show your support. The stamp will
|
| be used indefinitely by Canada Post for whoever requests it.
|

| Come to Barry's Bay and view the new Zurakowski Park!!!

| Our beautiful gazebo and new storyboards are in place as well as a new picnic table and two benches.
|
| The scaled down model of the Supermarine Spitfire is complete and was
|
| built by Morris Towns who was involved with the building of the Arrow in the Park.
|
| It was erected on a tall steel pole and ball bearings that will rotate like a wind sock!!
|
